RGV has spearheaded the continued development and conversion of a new township in the heart of Calapan City in Oriental Mindoro.
Dubbed as NEO CALAPAN, this mixed development covers an area of 100 hectares more or less, transforming a once-idle large tract of land in the city suburbs into a prime residential-commercial and a future techno-industrial hub for the province.
Within a 60-hectare prime landmark development in Calapan City, a new township has emerged.
NEO CALAPAN is a self-contained residential communities of 2,412 housing units already sold, with units to be constructed for the low, medium and high-end markets. The township amenities include a clubhouse with a tennis courts, swimming pool, function hall, parks and playground. Existing are two regional malls being operated by the Xentro Mall and the Unitop Group.
Recently, we had broken ground and have begun construction of the Sto. Niño Shrine situated on a hilltop overlooking the City of Calapan.
Across NEO CLAPAN is the FILIPINIANA CALAPAN RESORT HOTEL, the first 50-room deluxe hotel in Oriental Mindoro built by RGV in the year 2000.
Depart. Of tourism (DOT) classified Filipiniana Hotel as 4 star category in year 2000 due to its complete facilities i.e. conference center, restaurant and bar, big swimming pool, fitness center and bar and entertainment area.
